Gotham Rounded Medium Italic

Gotham Rounded is a direct descendant of the iconic Gotham typeface family, originally inspired by the architectural lettering of mid-century New York City. This variant softens the rigid, geometric corners of the original design into smooth, circular terminals, resulting in a font that feels both technical and incredibly friendly. The Medium Italic weight provides a sophisticated slant that adds motion and emphasis to the design without losing the stability that the Gotham family is known for.

Developed by the Hoefler & Co. foundry, the Rounded series was created to offer a more approachable and contemporary aesthetic for digital interfaces and corporate branding. By maintaining the wide apertures and generous x-height of its predecessor, Gotham Rounded Medium Italic ensures high legibility across both print and screen. It has become a favorite among tech startups and creative agencies who want to project a sense of modern innovation and warmth.
