GT Sectra Fine Bold Regular

GT Sectra Fine Bold Regular is a contemporary serif typeface that represents a unique fusion between the broad-nib pen calligraphy and the precision of a scalpel. Developed by the Swiss type foundry Grilli Type, it was originally designed for the magazine Reportagen. The typeface is known for its sharp, angular transitions and high-contrast strokes that give it a distinctive, incisive character, making it stand out in both print and digital editorial environments.

The Fine sub-family is specifically optimized for large-scale display use. It enhances the contrast between thick and thin strokes, resulting in a sophisticated and elegant appearance that retains its calligraphic roots while appearing modern and sharp. This specific weight, the Bold Regular, provides a heavy, authoritative presence that is perfect for designers looking to create impact without sacrificing the refined details of traditional serif letterforms.
