GT Super Ds Lt It Regular (Grilli Type Super Display Light Italic) is a masterful typeface released by the Swiss foundry Grilli Type. It is the result of an extensive research project into serif typefaces from the 1970s and 80s, specifically focusing on the expressive era where typography transitioned from metal to phototypesetting. The font captures the idiosyncratic spirit of that period while refining the technical aspects for modern digital use.

The Display Light Italic variant is characterized by its high contrast, sharp serifs, and elegant slant. It draws inspiration from historical designs like Times Modern, yet it possesses a distinct, contemporary sharpness. This specific weight and style are crafted for high-impact visual storytelling, offering a sophisticated aesthetic that bridges the gap between calligraphic heritage and sharp, vector-perfect precision.
