GT Super Ds Md It Regular

GT Super Ds Md It Regular is a sophisticated display typeface designed by Noël Leu and released by the Swiss foundry Grilli Type. It is a central part of the GT Super family, which was inspired by the expressive serif typefaces of the 1970s and 1980s, particularly those found in newspaper and magazine design. The font masterfully balances historical influences like Times Modern with contemporary digital aesthetics, resulting in a typeface that feels both nostalgic and cutting-edge.

The Medium Italic weight within the Display subfamily is characterized by its high contrast, elegant slants, and sharp terminals. This specific variant is engineered for large-scale use, where its intricate details and rhythmic flow can be fully appreciated. Since its release, GT Super has become a favorite among graphic designers for its ability to convey authority and elegance simultaneously, making it a staple in modern editorial and branding projects.
