GT Super Ds Su It Regular

GT Super is a high-contrast serif typeface designed by Noël Leu and released through the Grilli Type foundry in 2018. The design is deeply rooted in the expressive typography of the 1970s and 1980s, drawing inspiration from the works of Herb Lubalin and the flamboyant display serifs of that era. It successfully bridges the gap between the idiosyncrasies of phototypesetting-era designs and the technical precision of modern digital font engineering.

The Display Super Italic weight is the most extreme and expressive member of the family. It features a sharp, aggressive slant and heavy strokes that make it ideal for high-impact editorial layouts and luxury branding. By prioritizing personality over utilitarianism, it captures a nostalgic yet forward-looking aesthetic that has become a staple in contemporary graphic design for fashion and culture-centric media.
