GT Super Txt Bd It Regular

GT Super Txt Bd It Regular is a sophisticated typeface designed by Noël Leu and released through the Swiss foundry Grilli Type. Developed as part of a larger exploration into the expressive serif typography of the 1970s and 1980s, GT Super draws inspiration from iconic predecessors like Times Modern and ITC Souvenir. This specific weight and style—Text Bold Italic—combines a robust structural presence with a fluid, calligraphic slant, resulting in a font that feels both authoritative and approachable.

The Text version of the GT Super family is specifically engineered for legibility at smaller sizes, featuring adjusted proportions and optimized spacing compared to its Display counterpart. The Bold Italic variant is particularly effective for editorial design, providing the necessary weight to stand out in subheaders or pull-quotes while maintaining the elegant curvature characteristic of high-quality Swiss design. Since its launch in 2018, it has become a staple for designers looking to balance nostalgic aesthetics with modern technical precision.
