GT Super Txt Bd Regular

GT Super Txt Bd Regular is a distinguished member of the GT Super family, designed by Noel Leu and released through the Swiss foundry Grilli Type. The typeface draws heavy inspiration from the expressive serif designs of the 1970s and 1980s, specifically referencing the transition of typefaces like Times New Roman into the display-heavy advertising world of that era. The 'Txt' version is specifically engineered for body copy, offering robust proportions and carefully adjusted contrast to ensure maximum legibility at smaller sizes.

This specific weight, GT Super Txt Bd Regular, provides a bold and authoritative presence that maintains the family's signature elegance. It bridges the gap between historical calligraphic roots and contemporary technical requirements, making it a favorite for editorial designers who require a font that feels both nostalgic and modern. Its sharp serifs and deliberate stroke variations give it a sophisticated, high-end aesthetic that stands out in both high-resolution print and digital environments.
