GT Super Txt Bk It Regular

GT Super is a comprehensive serif typeface family designed by Noel Leu and released through the Swiss foundry Grilli Type in 2018. The project began as an exploration into the expressive serif designs of the 1970s and 80s, specifically those influenced by the phototype era and the work of designers like Herb Lubalin. It successfully captures the idiosyncratic charm of that period while refining the aesthetics for a modern, digital-first environment.

The GT Super Txt Bk It Regular (Text Book Italic) version is meticulously crafted for body text applications. Unlike its high-contrast display counterparts, the 'Text' weight features a more balanced stroke distribution and open counters, ensuring maximum readability in books, magazines, and long-form web content. The italic style is fluid and calligraphic, providing a distinct yet harmonious contrast to the roman weights.
