GT Super Txt Md Regular

GT Super Txt Md Regular is a sophisticated serif typeface released by the Swiss foundry Grilli Type. Developed by Noël Leu, the font is the result of an extensive investigation into display serif typefaces from the 1970s and 80s, particularly those used in high-end editorial design. While the display version captures the expressive drama of the era, the Txt (Text) sub-family is specifically engineered for superior legibility at smaller sizes, featuring a more robust construction and carefully balanced proportions.

The design draws inspiration from classics such as Times Modern and the work of Alexey Brodovitch, blending sharp terminals with expressive, fluid curves. The Medium weight provides a perfect middle ground for designers, offering enough visual weight for subheadings while maintaining the clarity required for long-form reading. It remains a popular choice for digital platforms and print media that require a touch of historical elegance combined with contemporary Swiss precision.
