Guggenheim Sans Thin Regular

Guggenheim Sans Thin Regular was commissioned by the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum to create a unified and sophisticated visual identity across its international locations. Developed by the prestigious type foundry Hoefler & Co., the typeface draws inspiration from the museum’s historical sans-serif lettering and the organic, geometric architecture of its flagship New York building. It serves as a modern evolution of the geometric sans-serif tradition, balancing mechanical precision with an approachable, humanist character.

The Thin Regular weight is specifically designed for high-impact, minimalist applications where elegance is the primary goal. Its hairline strokes and open counters make it an ideal choice for luxury branding, high-end editorial design, and contemporary gallery signage. While it maintains the structural integrity of the broader Guggenheim Sans family, the Thin weight offers a delicate, ethereal quality that thrives in large-scale display use and sophisticated digital environments.
