Hall Fetica Italic Regular

Hall Fetica Italic Regular originates from the modernist tradition of mid-20th-century Swiss design, serving as a functional contemporary interpretation of the neo-grotesque genre. Designed to bridge the gap between industrial rigidity and digital fluidity, it pays homage to classic typefaces like Helvetica and Akzidenz-Grotesk while introducing subtly refined terminal cuts. Its development was driven by the need for a versatile typeface that maintains structural integrity across both high-resolution print and low-density digital screens.

The italic variant demonstrates a sophisticated slant angle that avoids the common pitfalls of mechanical slanting, instead opting for a true-italic spirit with adjusted optical weights. Its generous x-height ensures exceptional legibility even at smaller point sizes, while the tight apertures create a compact, rhythmic texture in body text. The stroke weight is meticulously balanced, providing a neutral visual tone that avoids overwhelming surrounding design elements, making it a masterclass in objective typography.
