Hanken Grotesk Extra Bold Italic

Hanken Grotesk is a contemporary digital revival of the classic grotesque typefaces, meticulously crafted by Alfredo Marco Pradil. The font family was engineered to provide a clean, functional, and highly versatile aesthetic that bridges the gap between traditional geometric foundations and modern optical refinements, ensuring clarity across both print and high-resolution digital interfaces.

The Extra Bold Italic weight is specifically designed for high-impact visual communication, offering a powerful slanted posture that suggests speed, urgency, and emphasis. Since its transition to an open-source license and its inclusion in the Google Fonts library, it has become a staple for designers looking for a robust, professional-grade Swiss-style sans serif that supports a wide range of Latin-based languages.
