iCiel Gotham Medium Regular

iCiel Gotham Medium Regular is a localized version of the iconic Gotham typeface, originally designed by Tobias Frere-Jones for Hoefler & Co. Inspired by the architectural signage found throughout New York City, particularly the Port Authority Bus Terminal, Gotham features a clean, geometric structure that conveys a sense of modernity and authority. The iCiel version specifically optimizes this legendary typeface for the Vietnamese language, ensuring that diacritics and special characters are perfectly balanced within the font's signature proportions.

This specific Medium Regular weight serves as a versatile middle ground in the family, offering enough visual weight for impactful headlines while remaining legible enough for shorter blocks of body text. Gotham gained worldwide fame through its use in the 2008 Obama presidential campaign and has since become a standard for corporate branding and editorial design. This Vietnamese localization allows designers to utilize this world-class aesthetic in localized projects without compromising on typographic quality or consistency.
