iCiel Gotham Thin Regular

iCiel Gotham Thin Regular is a specialized Vietnamese-localized version of the world-renowned Gotham typeface. Originally commissioned by GQ magazine and designed by Tobias Frere-Jones, the Gotham family was inspired by the no-nonsense lettering found on mid-century architectural signage and port authority buildings in New York City. The iCiel adaptation preserves the iconic geometric structure of the original while expanding its character set to include full support for the Vietnamese language, making it a versatile tool for international designers.

The Thin Regular weight is characterized by its exceptionally fine strokes and expansive apertures, providing a breath of fresh air to any layout. Its minimalist profile is ideal for conveying sophistication, modernity, and a premium feel. Because of its light footprint, it excels in high-resolution environments where its delicate details can be fully appreciated, serving as a staple for editorial design, luxury branding, and contemporary digital interfaces that require a clean, architectural aesthetic.
