Incunitials Regular

Incunitials Regular is a decorative font family created by the prolific German typographer Manfred Klein. It draws heavy inspiration from historical manuscript lettering and incunabula—the early printed books produced before the year 1501. The font is characterized by its bold, blocky strokes and intricate, medieval-style detailing that makes every character feel like a hand-carved block or a calligraphic masterpiece from a bygone era.

The Regular weight of Incunitials serves as an excellent display typeface for projects requiring a touch of antiquity or artisanal craftsmanship. Because of its complex and dense design, it is most effective when used for decorative drop caps, book titles, or thematic posters. It reflects Klein's signature approach of blending traditional historical aesthetics with modern digital accessibility, ensuring a unique visual impact in contemporary graphic design.
