Iwona Heavy Regular is a two-element sans-serif typeface designed by Polish artist Małgorzata Budyta at the Typeface Design Studio of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. It was digitized and expanded by the GUST e-foundry team, including Janusz M. Nowacki. This heavy weight variant is characterized by its robust presence and clear, geometric forms that maintain high legibility even at large display sizes.

The typeface is often considered a sister project to the Kurier font, sharing many structural similarities but offering a distinct visual rhythm. Iwona is widely recognized in the TeX and LaTeX communities for its reliability in technical and academic typesetting. Its balance of modern aesthetics and classical proportions makes it a versatile tool for contemporary graphic design and digital media.
