j.d. Regular

j.d. Regular is a distinctive handwritten typeface created by Emerald City Fontworks. Known for its raw, marker-like strokes and informal structure, it captures the essence of casual penmanship with a slight grunge aesthetic. The font features irregular character heights and textured edges that give it a personal, organic feel, making it a popular choice for designs that require an authentic human touch.

Over the years, j.d. Regular has become a staple in the freeware font community, frequently used in digital art and underground publication layouts. Its unique blend of hand-drawn charm and urban grit allows it to stand out in creative projects ranging from scrapbooking to edgy editorial design. Despite its age, it remains a go-to option for designers looking to avoid the sterile look of more polished script fonts.
