Jones* Black Black Italic

Jones* Black Black Italic is a robust and dynamic member of the Jones* typeface family, a contemporary sans-serif designed to bridge the gap between geometric precision and humanist warmth. Crafted with meticulous attention to balance, this specific weight offers a powerful visual presence characterized by its extreme stroke thickness and energetic slant. The design features open apertures and distinct terminals that maintain clarity even in high-impact display settings, making it an essential tool for designers seeking a combination of strength and fluid movement.

The history of the Jones* family is rooted in the pursuit of a versatile workhorse that functions across both digital and physical mediums. As the heaviest italicized variant, the Black Black Italic was engineered to provide maximum emphasis without sacrificing the sophisticated proportions of the overall family. Since its inception by The Northern Block, it has become a favorite for high-end editorial work and modern corporate identities, offering a unique typographic voice that reflects the evolution of 21st-century sans-serif design while paying homage to mid-century modernist principles.
