Jones* Light Light Italic

Jones* Light Light Italic is a contemporary sans-serif typeface designed by Owen Earl of Indestructible Type*. It draws significant inspiration from the iconic work of Edward Johnston, specifically the typeface created for the London Underground in the early 20th century. Jones* aims to refine these classic proportions for the digital age, offering a clean, geometric aesthetic that maintains a sense of humanist warmth. The Light Italic weight provides a delicate, sophisticated slant that enhances the readability and elegance of the family.

As part of the Indestructible Type* collection, this font is built with open-source principles in mind, ensuring high-quality kerning and a wide range of character support. It excels in modern branding projects where a balance between historical authority and minimalist design is required. Whether used in digital interfaces or high-end print layouts, Jones* Light Light Italic offers a timeless appeal that bridges the gap between early craftsmanship and 21st-century utility.
