KIDS Text Regular

KIDS Text Regular is a playful and distinctive typeface originally developed by Alexander Branczyk as part of the Face2Face collective. Emerging from the experimental design movements of the 1990s, this font was crafted to bridge the gap between spontaneous handwriting and structured typography. It retains an organic, humanistic quality that avoids the sterile nature of traditional sans-serifs, making it a favorite for projects that require a touch of personality and warmth.

The design features slightly irregular stroke weights and soft terminals that evoke a childlike curiosity and creative energy. Despite its informal appearance, the "Text" version of this family is specifically optimized for legibility in body copy and longer segments of text. It has been widely adopted in editorial environments, avant-garde publications, and branding projects that aim to communicate authenticity and an approachable, friendly atmosphere.
