Korataki Extra Light

Korataki Extra Light is a sophisticated evolution of the futuristic sans-serif genre, designed by the prolific Ray Larabie of Typodermic Fonts. Drawing inspiration from 1970s sci-fi aesthetics and technical industrial design, it serves as a refined successor to his earlier typeface, Karisma. The Extra Light weight focuses on thin, precise strokes that emphasize the font's wide, squared-off proportions, creating an atmosphere of advanced technology and clinical precision.

This typeface is particularly noted for its clean geometry and spacious counters, which ensure high legibility despite its unconventional, mechanical appearance. While the bolder weights of Korataki are often used for heavy industrial branding, the Extra Light variant is preferred for minimalist digital interfaces and luxury tech products. It successfully bridges the gap between retro-futurism and modern corporate identity, making it a staple for designers looking to project a forward-thinking image.
