Laca Text Bold

Laca Text Bold is a sophisticated sans-serif typeface designed by Joana Correia, serving as a functional extension of the original Laca family. While the primary Laca family was inspired by the nostalgic, mid-century aesthetic of retro Portuguese soap packaging, the Text version has been meticulously re-engineered for superior legibility in body copy and smaller sizes. It retains the warm, humanistic charm of its predecessor while introducing technical refinements necessary for high-performance typesetting.

The Bold weight of this family is particularly robust, featuring generous counters and a balanced stroke contrast that ensures visibility across both print and digital mediums. Its geometric foundations are softened by subtle, friendly curves, making it an ideal choice for designers who require a font that is both professional and approachable. Laca Text Bold bridges the gap between historical inspiration and contemporary utility, offering a unique typographic voice for modern editorial projects.
