Laca Text Extra Bold

Laca Text is a versatile sans-serif typeface designed by Joana Correia, inspired by the nostalgic charm of retro Portuguese packaging. While the original Laca family focused on display qualities, the Text version was specifically engineered for readability and functionality at smaller sizes. The Extra Bold weight provides a powerful, high-impact presence while maintaining the warm, humanistic character that defines the entire collection.

This typeface balances geometric precision with soft, approachable terminals, making it a favorite for modern branding projects. The Extra Bold variant is particularly effective in editorial environments where strong hierarchy is required, offering excellent legibility in both digital and print media thanks to its carefully balanced counters and robust stroke weight.
