Laca Text Medium

Laca Text is a refined evolution of the original Laca family, designed by Joana Correia for the Nova Type Foundry. While the original Laca was inspired by retro soap packaging and bubble-like forms, the Text version is specifically optimized for legibility in body copy. It features a larger x-height, more open apertures, and balanced spacing to ensure clarity at smaller point sizes, making it a workhorse for complex typographic tasks.

The Medium weight offers a sturdy presence that bridges the gap between regular and bold, making it ideal for editorial design and UI elements. Its design maintains the friendly, semi-rounded characteristics of its predecessor while providing the technical precision needed for high-performance typography in both digital and print environments.
