Maga Light

Maga Light is a contemporary serif typeface designed by Luciano Perondi and published through the CAST foundry. Originally conceived for editorial environments, the font was engineered to maintain exceptional legibility in complex layouts such as magazines and newspapers. Its design is characterized by a generous x-height, open counters, and a balanced weight distribution that ensures clarity even at smaller point sizes.

The Light variant of the Maga family provides a refined and sophisticated aesthetic that bridges the gap between traditional Italian typography and modern digital design. While it retains a sturdy structure for long-form reading, its delicate strokes make it an excellent choice for high-end branding and elegant display use. It is widely appreciated by graphic designers for its versatility and its ability to convey authority without appearing heavy.
