Mark Pro Heavy Regular

Mark Pro Heavy Regular is a centerpiece of the expansive Mark Pro family, a geometric sans-serif typeface designed with meticulous attention to detail by Hannes von Döhren and Christoph Koeberlin. Inspired by the legendary geometric designs of the early 20th century, such as Edward Johnston’s work and Futura, this typeface bridges the gap between historical influence and modern digital requirements. The Heavy weight is specifically engineered to provide a robust and authoritative presence, making it a favorite for designers who need to command attention without sacrificing the clean aesthetics of geometric forms.

First released through the FontFont library, the Mark Pro family has gained international acclaim for its versatility and extensive character set. The Heavy Regular variant features a large x-height and open counters, ensuring that even at its thickest weight, the typeface remains highly legible in display contexts. Its construction is based on pure circles and squares, yet it includes subtle optical corrections that make it feel more organic and readable than many of its more rigid predecessors, making it an essential tool for high-end branding and editorial design.
