Media Sans Regular

Media Sans Regular is a contemporary powerhouse of a typeface designed by Jean-Baptiste Levée and released through Production Type in 2018. It was specifically engineered for editorial environments where space is at a premium and visual impact is non-negotiable. Drawing deep inspiration from the ultra-tight, high-impact sans-serifs of the 1960s and 1970s, the font features a remarkably high x-height and short ascenders and descenders, allowing it to be packed tightly in both horizontal and vertical directions.

Unlike traditional grotesques that can feel sterile, Media Sans possesses a vibrant, almost aggressive personality that demands attention. Its design philosophy avoids the standard 'one-size-fits-all' approach, instead focusing on a specialized display utility that makes headlines sing. It has become a go-to choice for creative directors looking to capture a vintage editorial vibe while maintaining the sharp, clean precision required for modern digital and print production.
