Media Sans Ultra Regular

Media Sans Ultra Regular is a contemporary display typeface designed by Jean-Baptiste Levée and released through Production Type. Drawing heavy inspiration from the aesthetic of 1960s and 70s French news magazines, this font was specifically engineered for high-impact editorial use. It is defined by its extremely tight tracking, massive x-height, and bold visual weight, making it an authoritative choice for headlines that need to capture immediate attention.

The 'Ultra' weight represents the most robust end of the Media Sans family, stripping away delicate details in favor of geometric strength and dense letterforms. This font excels in environments where space is at a premium but visibility is paramount. Its modern construction and professional finish have made it a staple in contemporary graphic design, particularly for magazine covers, digital media banners, and high-fashion branding projects.
