Metropolis Light

Metropolis Light is a modern geometric sans-serif typeface that was meticulously crafted by Chris Simpson. It was designed to provide a high-quality, open-source alternative to premium geometric fonts, focusing on clean lines, balanced proportions, and exceptional legibility across both digital and print platforms. The Light weight, in particular, offers a sophisticated and airy aesthetic that is highly effective for minimalist design projects.

Inspired by the classic geometric styles of the early 20th century, Metropolis maintains a contemporary feel that works flawlessly in modern user interfaces. Its expansive character set and precise kerning ensure that the font remains readable even at smaller sizes, while its elegant structure makes it a popular choice for high-end branding and editorial layouts where clarity and style are paramount.
