Mona12 Regular is a specialized bitmap font derived from the Mona Font project, which was originally designed to display Shift-JIS art (ASCII art) correctly on the web. It is characterized by its precise 12px grid alignment, ensuring that complex character-based illustrations remain perfectly aligned without distortion across various platforms.
This font is widely appreciated in retro-computing circles and for projects requiring a pixel-perfect aesthetic.
