Mostra-Nuova-Light

Mostra Nuova Light is an elegant typeface designed by Mark Simonson, drawing inspiration from the lettering found on Italian Art Deco posters and advertising during the 1930s. Originally released as Mostra in 2001 and later expanded into the comprehensive Mostra Nuova family in 2009, this font captures the geometric spirit and rationalist aesthetics of the early 20th-century Futurism movement. The Light weight specifically highlights the delicate balance between mathematical precision and artistic flair, offering a sophisticated look for modern design projects.

This typeface is highly regarded for its versatility, featuring numerous alternate characters that allow designers to evoke different stylistic eras—ranging from minimalist geometric forms to more eccentric, stylized letterforms. As a Geometric Sans Serif, Mostra Nuova Light bridges the gap between historical nostalgia and contemporary usability, making it an essential tool for designers seeking a high-end, European-inspired typographic identity.
