Movistar Text Regular

Movistar Text Regular is a custom-designed typeface commissioned by the Spanish telecommunications giant Telefónica for its global Movistar brand. Created by the prestigious font foundry Dalton Maag in collaboration with the branding agency Lambie-Nairn, the font was developed to modernize the brand's identity. It was engineered to offer a consistent and recognizable voice across diverse platforms, from high-resolution print advertisements to low-resolution mobile displays.

The design philosophy behind Movistar Text centers on accessibility and friendliness. It features a clean, Sans Serif structure with subtle humanist influences, characterized by its open apertures and soft terminals. These features ensure high legibility even at small point sizes, making it an ideal choice for the complex user interfaces and customer communications required in the modern telecommunications industry.
