Mundial Light

Mundial is a sophisticated geometric sans-serif typeface designed by Lluís Espluga and published by the Emtype Foundry in 2018. It was crafted with the goal of creating a versatile, contemporary workhorse that pays homage to the mid-20th-century geometric tradition while discarding its rigid limitations. The result is a balanced and legible font family that works harmoniously in both digital interfaces and high-quality print production.

The Mundial Light weight specifically emphasizes clarity and elegance through its open counters and precise stroke widths. It provides a clean, airy aesthetic that is particularly effective for high-end editorial layouts and minimalist branding projects. Its neutral yet distinct personality allows it to blend seamlessly into modern design systems while maintaining a high level of readability across various screen resolutions.
