Napo Light Italic

Napo Light Italic is an elegant slab serif typeface designed by Andrea Tartarelli for the renowned Italian type foundry Zetafonts. This weight is part of the larger Napo family, which was initially conceived as a custom project before evolving into a versatile, multi-weight collection. The Light Italic variant stands out for its delicate balance between the industrial strength of a slab serif and the fluid, sophisticated motion of an italic, making it ideal for high-end design projects.

Technically, the font features wide counters and a high x-height, which ensures exceptional legibility across both print and digital mediums. Its rhythmic terminals and slight slant provide a contemporary aesthetic that bridges the gap between classic letterforms and modern geometric trends. Whether used for body copy or decorative accents, it brings a sense of refined professionalism to any typographic layout.
