Neue Frutiger World XtraBlk Regular

Neue Frutiger World is a monumental expansion of Adrian Frutiger’s original 1975 masterpiece, redesigned for the modern, globalized era. This specific weight, XtraBlk Regular, represents the most powerful and authoritative iteration of the family. Developed under the direction of Akira Kobayashi, the typeface was engineered to maintain its distinct humanist characteristics and legibility while supporting over 150 languages across the globe, including Cyrillic, Greek, Arabic, and Thai scripts.

The design of the XtraBlk Regular focuses on extreme visibility without sacrificing the open apertures and clear silhouettes that made the original Frutiger a standard for wayfinding. Its massive stroke weight provides incredible impact for headlines and signage, ensuring that the brand voice remains consistent and readable across diverse geographic regions and complex environments. It is the gold standard for global corporations requiring a singular, high-impact typographic identity.
