Neutraface Text Bold

Neutraface Text Bold was designed by Christian Schwartz for House Industries and released in 2002. The typeface is part of a larger family inspired by the architectural lettering of the renowned modernist architect Richard Neutra. While the Neutraface Display styles are famous for their high-waisted geometry, the Text version was specifically engineered for readability, featuring more conventional proportions and adjusted apertures that thrive in smaller sizes without losing its mid-century modern soul.

The Bold weight of Neutraface Text provides a sturdy, authoritative presence that remains sophisticated and balanced. It serves as a bridge between the rigid principles of geometry and the practical requirements of modern typography. Its popularity stems from its ability to convey a sense of architectural structure and minimalist elegance, making it a go-to choice for designers who need a sans-serif that is both functional for long-form reading and aesthetically striking for headers.
