Old Champion Regular is a classic varsity-style typeface designed by Mans Greback. Characterized by its bold, blocky slab serifs and athletic aesthetic, this font captures the timeless spirit of collegiate sports and American retro culture. Its heavy strokes and structured geometry make it highly legible, even from a distance, which is essential for team uniforms and stadium signage.
Historically, this font family draws inspiration from traditional letterforms found on vintage baseball jerseys and high school letterman jackets. Over the years, it has become a staple for designers looking to evoke a sense of heritage, competition, and strength.
