Onest Medium

Onest is a modern geometric sans-serif typeface originally commissioned as part of the digital transformation initiative for Moldova. Developed by designers Dmitry Voloshin and Andrey Kudryavtsev, the font was engineered to serve as a versatile communication tool for both government and public sectors. It features a unique balance between strict geometric construction and humanistic clarity, ensuring that information is conveyed efficiently across various digital and physical platforms.

The Onest Medium weight specifically offers a robust presence without being overwhelming, making it an ideal choice for emphasizing key information. Released under the SIL Open Font License, this typeface has quickly evolved from a local identity project into a global favorite for designers seeking a clean, neutral, yet friendly aesthetic. Its large x-height and open apertures provide excellent legibility in both body text and interface design.
