Onest Regular

Onest is a contemporary geometric sans-serif typeface originally commissioned by the Republic of Moldova to create a unified and modern visual language for its government and citizens. Designed by Dmitrii Voloshin and Andrei Kudryavtsev, the font was built on the principles of transparency and accessibility. Its design balances a clean, neutral structure with humanistic touches, ensuring it remains legible and friendly across a variety of digital and analog mediums.

The Regular weight of Onest serves as a highly versatile tool for designers, featuring open apertures and a large x-height that enhances readability at small sizes. While it was initially developed for state use, its creators released it as an open-source project to promote high-quality typography. It supports extensive character sets including Latin and Cyrillic, making the Onest Regular font an excellent choice for global brands looking for a modern, minimalist, and professional aesthetic.
