PF Tempesta Seven Extended Bold

PF Tempesta Seven Extended Bold is a renowned pixel font designed by Yusuke Kamiyamane and released through Parachute Fonts. Originally created to solve the legibility issues of standard typefaces at extremely small sizes, it became a cornerstone of the digital design movement in the early 2000s. This specific weight, the Extended Bold, offers a wider stance and a robust presence while maintaining the strict grid-based integrity required for bitmap-style typography.

As part of the larger Tempesta Seven family, this font is meticulously crafted to be used at exactly 8 pixels or multiples thereof. It is celebrated for its clarity in UI design, retro gaming interfaces, and technical illustrations. Despite the evolution of high-resolution displays, it remains a favorite for designers seeking a nostalgic, low-fidelity aesthetic or high-precision functional icons and labels.
