PF Tempesta Seven Extended Regular

PF Tempesta Seven Extended Regular is a renowned pixel font family created by Yusuke Kamiyamane. Originally released in the early 2000s, it was designed specifically for low-resolution screens to maintain maximum legibility at extremely small sizes, specifically at a base height of 7 pixels. The Extended Regular variant provides a wider stance than the standard version, making it ideal for horizontal layouts where clarity and a distinct digital aesthetic are required without sacrificing its grid-based structure.

This font became a staple in the web design and gaming industries during the era of Flash websites and handheld consoles. Its architecture ensures that every pixel aligns perfectly with the screen grid, preventing the blurring common in anti-aliased typefaces. Today, it remains a popular choice for retro-style interfaces, minimalist graphics, and lo-fi digital art projects that require a crisp, nostalgic technical feel.
