Pitch Sans Italic

Pitch Sans Italic is a modern sans-serif typeface designed by Kris Sowersby of the Klim Type Foundry. It is the proportional companion to Pitch, a typeface famously described as a 'love letter to the typewriter.' While it sheds the strict monospaced requirements of its predecessor, Pitch Sans Italic retains the mechanical soul and distinctive skeletal structure of typewritten characters, resulting in a unique blend of vintage aesthetics and contemporary utility.

The Italic weight features a dynamic, rhythmic slant that enhances the font's personality, making it particularly effective for emphasis in editorial settings. Its construction balances sharp terminals with open apertures, ensuring high legibility across various screen resolutions and print media. It is widely used by designers looking to evoke a sense of technical precision or literary sophistication.
