Portada ☞

Portada is a sophisticated serif typeface family specifically engineered for the rigors of digital publishing and screen reading. Developed by the renowned foundry TypeTogether, it was born out of a need for a typeface that maintains exceptional legibility at small sizes on electronic devices without sacrificing its organic, warm character. Its design features a large x-height, clear apertures, and robust serifs that ensure the text remains crisp and readable across various screen resolutions.

Beyond its technical screen optimization, Portada offers a complete range of weights and italics that make it versatile for both digital and print environments. The font has received prestigious recognition, including an award from the Type Directors Club, solidifying its status as a top-tier choice for editorial designers. Whether used for long-form journalism or complex user interfaces, Portada balances functional performance with a distinct personality that avoids the clinical feel of many digital-first typefaces.
