PP Formula Medium

PP Formula Medium is a versatile and high-performance grotesque typeface that sits at the intersection of utility and modern aesthetics. Designed by Mat Desjardins, it was conceived to handle high-impact visual communication while maintaining a refined architectural structure. The typeface stands out due to its wide horizontal expansion and sturdy counters, which allow it to command attention on any canvas, whether digital or print.

The history of Formula is rooted in the heritage of industrial signage and mechanical lettering from the mid-20th century. By refining these utilitarian shapes into a contemporary variable font system, the foundry created a tool that feels both nostalgic and futuristic. It is widely recognized for its ability to convey strength and precision, making it a staple for designers working on projects that require a bold, authoritative voice.
