Pridi Bold

Pridi Bold is a sophisticated slab-serif typeface designed by the renowned Thai type foundry Cadson Demak. It is part of a larger multi-script family that seamlessly blends Thai loopless letterforms with Latin characters. The name 'Pridi' translates to 'joy' in Thai and honors Pridi Banomyong, a significant figure in Thai history. Its design features robust serifs and a clean, contemporary structure, making it highly legible across various media platforms.

The Bold weight specifically emphasizes strength and authority, making it an excellent choice for headers and display purposes. Because it was developed with a focus on both traditional print and modern digital interfaces, Pridi Bold maintains its clarity even at smaller sizes. Its balanced proportions and open counters reflect a modern Thai aesthetic that bridges the gap between classic slab-serif traditions and functional graphic design needs.
