Qatar2022 Arabic Thin

The Qatar2022 Arabic Thin font is a key component of the visual identity developed for the FIFA World Cup 2022. Designed by the renowned Dino dos Santos of Adtypo, this typeface was crafted to capture the essence of Qatari culture while maintaining a modern, global appeal. It integrates elements of traditional Arabic calligraphy with contemporary geometric forms, creating a unique look that defines the spirit of international football and the heritage of the Middle East.

The Thin variant of this typeface emphasizes elegance and sophistication through its slender strokes and airy feel. Its design is characterized by fluid movements and looping terminals that mimic the curves of desert dunes and the infinity symbol. This specific weight is highly effective for large-scale displays where a subtle, refined aesthetic is required, offering excellent legibility in both digital and physical mediums without overpowering other design elements.
