Quarion ExtraLight

Quarion is a contemporary geometric sans-serif typeface family designed by the renowned German designer René Bieder. Drawing inspiration from the early 20th-century geometric movement, it refines those classic proportions with a modern aesthetic, resulting in a clean, versatile font family. The ExtraLight weight is particularly distinguished by its delicate strokes and airy feel, making it a favorite for high-end editorial work and minimalist digital interfaces.

Released as part of a comprehensive family of 10 weights, Quarion includes a variety of OpenType features such as stylistic alternates, case-sensitive forms, and multiple numeral sets. Its design philosophy centers on achieving a balance between neutrality and character, ensuring it remains highly legible at various sizes while still offering a distinct personality. The ExtraLight variant excels in large display settings where its fine lines and geometric precision can truly shine.
