Quay Sans ITC Std Medium Bold Italic

Quay Sans ITC Std Medium Bold Italic is a distinguished humanist sans-serif typeface designed by the renowned British typographer David Quay and released by the International Typeface Corporation (ITC) in 1990. The design reflects a strong influence from the Dutch typographic tradition, blending functional clarity with a subtle calligraphic warmth that sets it apart from more austere, geometric sans-serifs. Its open counters and balanced proportions ensure high legibility even in complex layouts.

The Medium Bold Italic weight provides a rhythmic and fluid motion, making it an exceptional tool for creating visual emphasis without losing professional gravitas. This variant is particularly celebrated for its ability to maintain structural integrity while introducing a sense of elegance and movement, making it a staple for designers who require a versatile font that bridges the gap between traditional craftsmanship and modern digital application.
