Quetzalli Regular

Quetzalli Regular is a contemporary serif typeface created by designer Johel Rivera. Drawing inspiration from pre-Hispanic Mexican iconography and ancient stone masonry, this font features distinctive angular serifs and a geometric structure that evokes a sense of historical strength combined with modern refinement. Its balanced proportions and open counters ensure legibility across various media, making it a versatile choice for designers looking for a unique cultural touch in their typographic compositions.

The typeface is particularly effective in branding and editorial design where a strong personality is required. By blending traditional calligraphic influences with rigid, carved shapes, Quetzalli Regular bridges the gap between the past and the present. It is often praised for its ability to maintain clarity in long-form text while remaining visually striking at larger display sizes, such as in headlines, museum exhibitions, or poster art.
