Regional ExtraLight Regular

Regional ExtraLight Regular is a sophisticated contemporary serif typeface designed by Lewis McGuffie and released through the Polytype foundry. Drawing deep inspiration from 19th-century transitional models and the rationalist structure of slab-serifs, it transforms historical influences into a sleek, modern aesthetic. The ExtraLight weight is particularly noted for its delicate, razor-thin strokes and sharp terminals, offering a level of elegance that is essential for high-end digital and print typography.

This typeface is engineered with open counters and a vertical axis, ensuring that its graceful forms remain legible despite their light footprint. It bridges the gap between classical craftsmanship and modern digital versatility, making it a favorite for designers seeking a balance of minimalism and character. Whether used in high-resolution screen displays or luxury editorial spreads, Regional ExtraLight provides a professional and refined typographic voice.
